Hi, Juliana!
There is nothing quite like the
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, and it's a show that has brought my family back to
The Campsites at Fort Wilderness for decades. With more than 40 years of merriment and mayhem, this knee slappin', vaudeville style show has something fun for darn near everyone.
You will find that Pioneer Hall had decked its halls and put on its Christmas finery just for the season, so the room itself will be a little different than it is on a regular day. In years past, the show has remained true to its traditions, even during the Christmas season, but they usually add some holiday music during dinner. The last few times I went during Christmas, they sang We Wish You a Merry Christmas with the crowd at the very end.
It's a great time to go. The show is just downright fun; the food, which is an all you care to eat meal of fried chicken, ribs, cornbread, and side dishes is delicious; and when you add in the little extras for the holiday season, it's like getting a big old frontier style Christmas present.
I hope you get to enjoy the fun!
Anna
