    Is Wilderness Lodge a good location to view the Magic Kingdom fireworks?

    Not really. The Wilderness Lodge is quite close to the Magic Kingdom, but it is angled in the opposite direction, facing Fort Wilderness across the lake, rather than the MK behind it. There may be a few rooms at the Wilderness that do have some view of the MK fireworks, the the public areas and the beach are facing the wrong way. I have stayed at the Wilderness Lodge many times. When we've wanted to watch the MK fireworks from outside the park, we've taken the quick boat ride across the lake to Fort Wilderness. There is a lovely beach there with plenty of places to sit and relax while you're watching the show.

    You can also see the MK fireworks from the beach and dock areas of the nearby Grand Floridian and Polynesian.

    While you're out, don't forget to look for the Electrical Water Pageant -- a very sweet way to end an evening.
