    Ft. Wilderness cart rental: Can you pick up prior to checking in/if your room is not ready yet (on check-in day)? Is there a key drop if you need to return the cart while the office is closed? What is the cancelation policy? Thank you! Love planDisney!

    Welcome back to planDisney, Alesia! I’m so excited to know you will be starting the new year with a vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort!

    I just booked my golf cart for an upcoming visit at The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. I cannot wait! When it comes to picking up your golf cart, it is guaranteed to be ready for you at 1 p.m., but you can pick it up as late as midnight. You can absolutely pick it up before your room is ready! If you need to return your cart, and a Cast Member isn’t there to help, you can always leave your key with the front desk. If you need to cancel your cart, a Cast Member told me you should call the day before you arrive and they would take care of it for you. 

    Alesia, the Electrical Water Pageant has a new look for "The World's Most Magical Celebration!" You can see the twinkling lights from the Fort Wilderness dock every night around 9 p.m. with some special new touches. You won’t want to miss it during your vacation this January.
