We wil be visiting Epcot in June and would like to know how and what is the best way to get to Downtown Disney fron Epcot? We will have a 10yr old and a 3yr old. Isnt DD seperate from the theme parks and is there a charge?

Downtown Disney is a completely separate area from the theme parks. There is no admission fee or ticket needed to visit Downtown Disney. There is no direct transportation from the theme parks to DD. To get DD from Epcot via Disney transportation, you could do one of two things:

    1. Exit the front of Epcot (by the Spaceship Earth "golf ball"). Get on a bus to a resort that's near Downtown Disney. I would probably choose Saratoga Springs. Then, at the resort, transfer to a bus to DD.

    2. Exit the back of Epcot (via the International Gateway located between the England and France pavilions in the World Showcase). Take a quick walk to the Beach Club resort (about 5-7 minutes depending on your pace). At the Beach Club, hop on the bus headed to DD.

I personally would choose option #2, simply because with this method you only have one time to wait for transportation to arrive.

Hope you have a great trip!
