I wil be attending the Merry Christmas Party in December. Is it better to take the bus or drive to this event?

    Hi Megan,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting to be visiting Walt Disney World Resort during the merriest time of the yEAR!

You are going to love being able to experience Walt Disney World Resort when it's beautifully decorated for the holiday season. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is one of my favorite Special Events and such a fun way to experience Magic Kingdom Park during the holidays. Being able to enjoy holiday treats and seasonal beverages while watching Once Upon a Christmastime Parade on Main Street, U.S.A. is extra magical and a "must do" when attending this festive event!

If you will be staying at a Disney Resort hotel, I highly recommend taking advantage of Disney's complimentary bus transportation when traveling to the iconic park. Guest parking for Magic Kingdom Park is located at the Transportation and Ticket Center. Once you park, you would be required to board the Express Monorail or ferryboat bound for Magic Kingdom Park. I've always found the bus to be much quicker than driving when visiting Magic Kingdom Park. In addition, the buses will drop you near the main entrance of the park. Although I quite frequently drive to the other theme parks and both water parks, I always utilize Disney's complimentary transportation for accessing Magic Kingdom Park.

I hope this information is helpful to you, Megan. Please stop by again with any additional questions. We would love to assist you further in planning a magical and merry trip!

    Happy Travels,
    Jodie
