For my wife's actual birthday and part of our honeymoon we will be dining at V&A. What is better with more options to order a cake for the 2 of us;from Babycakes or the Cake Hotline?

    Hi Nicholas,

I have dined at Victoria & Albert's many times. It is a wonderful, magical, truly unforgettable experience - perfect for any adult birthday or honeymoon celebration.

If you're interested in dessert for V&A's, then you don't really need either Baby Cakes or the Cake Hotline. Simply tell V&As that you're celebrating. You can work with them to create something special from the kitchen right there. My feeling is that you actually won't even need the cake dessert. The amount of food at V&A's is substantial, even a small cake might feel superfluous. You may be better off just having the V&A's kitchen put candles in one of their regular desserts. But really, give them a call at 407-WDW-DVNA (939-3862), and they will work with you to get everything exactly right. Their aim to satisfy guests with the highest level of service and customization.

If you're interested in a cake for another meal, then my choice would depend on whether you or your bride have food intolerances or not. BabyCakes is a specialty shop, with cakes that are allergy friendly, vegan, and gluten free. For guests with food issues, they are a godsend. I've tasted BabyCakes several times. The cakes are good, but not exactly the same as a traditional cake. If you have no allergies, then you'll likely be happier with a Cake Hotline cake.

I hope you have a fabulous trip to Walt Disney World. You've made a great choice to dine at Victoria and Albert's.
