My wife, my 7 year old daughter and I are going in July for 8 days. How many clothes should we take?

    Hi Hector,

Packing is always a trick when it comes to vacation. July is going to be hot and sticky so you might want an extra change of clothes.

In general, I pack an outfit a day for each member of my family. I also add in a bathing suit or two as well as an outfit for a nice dinner. Even though it will be hot, I always have a sweatshirt so that I am not cold in the restaurants which are air conditioned. You may want to pack a poncho or raincoat for those short but wet thunderstorms.

Depending on where you are staying, you could do wash to save on packing. Most resorts have their laundry rooms near the pools. This allows you to wash your clothes and your children can swim in the pool.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
