Hello. My wife will be 22 weeks pregnant in our Mediterranean cruise. I've read about the rule of not exceeding 24 weeks on the day of the cruise. So, do I need to present a medical report from our doctor? What details should be stated in the report? Thanks

Welcome aboard, Hashem! Congratulations on the upcoming arrival of the newest little member of your family! How exciting!

Your wife will certainly enjoy relaxing on the Disney Magic as you sail the Mediterranean! That is a great point in pregnancy to cruise, as she'll be out of the nausea phase (hopefully!) and not too far along to feel very uncomfortable. Plus, she'll have a good excuse to eat, guilt-free, as often as she likes, and on Disney Cruise Line, that is not hard to do!

I'd recommend bringing a note from her doctor stating how far into the pregnancy she is at the time of sailing and her expected due date. This isn't a bad idea to have handy when you're flying as well. She may never be asked, but if she is, it's always a good idea to be prepared.

Hashem, please let me know how I can help as you continue to plan your Mediterranean cruise this summer!
