    My wife and I are thinking of a quick trip to Disney for our anniversary (June 1). We can go the last 2 weeks of May or first 2 weeks of June. Which would you recommend based on crowds? Thanks in advance.

    John,

    Definitely I would select the last two weeks in May over the first two weeks in June. There are several reasons why, but they boil down to these two important points;

    1. Lighter crowds. While schools start letting out as early as mid-May, the real out-of-school summer vacation season doesn't seem to hit in earnest until June. The weekends are bad throughout the four weeks you listed, but they are noticeably lighter in May.
    2. Better Weather. July gets you more squarely into the Orlando rainy season. And we are talking HEAVY rain, not just some afternoon misting that passes quickly. May has the nice warmth of Florida, and less rain. According to the National Weather Service, about HALF as much rain, month vs. month.

    I am glad to answer any follow-up questions you may have. Please just send them along to me, and I will see what I can do to help!

    Have a magical vacation!
