My wife and I are taking our 9 year old son and his 12 yr old cousin to Disney World Feb 2011. We do not know how adventurous my nephew's palate is. Can he still choose to eat from the children's selections on the Deluxe Dining Plan if needed?

Hi John! What an awesome uncle you are to take your nephew to Disney World! My ten-year-old son has quite an unadventurous palate, and even though he's considered an adult at Disney restaurants, he's had no problem ordering from the children's menus. Even restaurants like 'Ohana, where children typically eat the same foods as the adults, are willing to make grilled cheese sandwiches and other kids' favorites upon request.  If you're paying with an adult dining plan credit, some restaurants will even bring adult-sized portions of the kiddie meal, although most serve the standard kids portion. Your nephew should have no problem ordering the meal that most appeals to him.

Hope you have a magical vacation! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions. We're happy to help!
