Hi Jeffrey! Welcome to planDisney!
You and your wife have chosen a wonderful time to visit
Walt Disney World Resort and take in all its fantastic seasonal offerings. During September you'll be able to explore the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, get spooked at
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and enjoy somewhat lower crowds as most of Mickey's younger Guests have just gone back to school!
I love that you've settled on your Park days and already made Advance Dining Reservations. I feel like Walt Disney World trips are so wonderful because you can plan almost everything ahead of time. It sounds like your day at
Disney's Hollywood Studios and
Disney Springs is going to be a fantastic one! Make sure to pal around with Slinky on
Slinky Dog Dash and then stop by
Woody's Lunch Box for a tasty Lunch Box Tart - the Chocolate-Hazelnut is my favorite!
Once you're ready to head out to your dinner at Disney Springs you have a couple of options!
Since Disney's complimentary bus transportation doesn't run directly between the Theme Parks and Disney Springs you can simply hop on the
Disney Skyliner outside Hollywood Studios (in my opinion, the BEST way to travel around the Resort) to Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and take a bus from there to Disney Springs.
Another way, which might work out perfectly for you and your wife, is to hop on a bus back to your resort,
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter. This way you'll have a chance to freshen up before heading out for the evening AND you'll get to float your way down the Sassagoula River all the way to your destination of Disney Springs. The water taxi is relaxing and beautiful and is a "must-do" for us every time we stay at Port Orleans!
Enjoy your fabulous meal at Disney Springs. There are so many yummy options I don't even have to know which dining location you're eating at to know it's going to be delicious!
