    Hi, My wife, & soon to be 12 year old son & myself of course, will be in staying @ the Coronado Inn with dining plan Please tell us two or three of the best things about the Coronado Inn & two or three things that would not be so desirable.

    Welcome back to the Moms Panel, Keith! Congratulations on your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation! Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is my favorite Moderate Resort and my family has stayed at this location five or six times in the past, most recently in January for Marathon Weekend. I personally love the Southwest-theming, the quick-service restaurant, Pepper Market, and the archeological-themed Dig Site which features a cool Jaguar Pool Slide at The Lost City of Cibola Pool. When we visited in January, the guest rooms had been renovated since our last visit. I absolutely love the new room decor complete with heavy double doors that can be closed to separate the vanity area from the sleeping area. This works great when the adults are up first getting ready and the kids can get those extra few minutes of sleep. Although I have never personally experienced anything less than desirable when staying at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, I have heard that some people feel it is a large property making it more time consuming to get to Pepper Market or other various areas of the resort depending on your specific room location. Disney's Coronado Springs Resort does feature a convention center with 220,000 square feet of function space which can be seen as a positive and negative for some guests. I have never needed to go into this area of the resort when vacationing so it has never posed a problem for my family. In fact, I think it's really cool to see guests having business meetings in the "Happiest Place on Earth." My favorite area of the resort to stay in is the Casitas section.
