Heigh-Ho Jason,
Your question made me chuckle, I am happy to hEAR you would feed him beforehand. Parenting 101: Feed a hungry child or else... :)
I want to be completely upfront with you so you can decide what is best for your family. Walt Disney World restaurants with a prix fixed menu such as
Be Our Guest will charge each Guest, 3-years of age and older, whether they choose to eat or not. Now you may get lucky and your server may work with you but typically the rules are the rules. Talk with your server about his options and maybe they can seek out something that piques his interest. Who knows maybe he will surprise you and this will be the day he tries something new, Disney Magic is quite powerful. Or maybe he can be persuaded with a little incentive, Disney Gifts are quite powerful. Turn it into a game. Carry a small pocket-size notebook or card around for him and with each bite he takes, of new food, he earns a sticker. And if he gets a certain amount of stickers he earns a magical Disney surprise. Play this throughout your visit and maybe it will be a fun foodie adventure for him. Walt Disney World is a great place to have fun with food and maybe if you get to dine at Be Our Guest he can choose the next dining adventure.
We are looking forward to Welcoming You All Home for
Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary and the
Season of Holiday Celebration, may it be filled with many magical and memorable moments.
Have a Practically Perfect Day,
Amy M.
