My wife and I will be sailing on the Treasure this August 23rd. We are looking forward to seeing Tales of Moana. Is it always the last day? Is the Matinee usually less crowded? Do you really need to get there 30 minutes early to get a seat?

    Ahoy, Doug!

I'm so happy to welcome you aboard planDisney...thanks for sending this wonderful question our way! Your Disney Treasure cruise is coming up so soon! How exciting is that?! My family had the chance to sail on this incredible ship a few months ago, and honestly, I was completely blown away! From the gorgeous design and theming to all the fun details tucked around every corner, it's just such a stunning ship. You're in for such a magical adventure!

Speaking of adventure, one onboard experience that truly stands out is Disney The Tale of Moana, a spectacular Broadway-style stage production. This stunning show stars our favorite wayfinder herself, Moana, and it was easily one of my absolute favorite parts of sailing on the Treasure. From the powerful music and special effects to the heartfelt storytelling and jaw-dropping performances, the entire production was nothing short of breathtaking. It's absolutely a must-see that brings Moana's journey to life in the most magical way.

Right now, The Tale of Moana is usually scheduled for the last night of your cruise. When I sailed, I went to the matinee performance, and honestly, it was just as packed as the evening shows. A lot of families with little ones tend to go to the earlier show if they can. It's definitely a popular one, so I recommend showing up about 30 minutes early, no matter which time you choose to catch it.

Just keep in mind, entertainment schedules are always subject to change, so be sure to double-check the showtimes in your Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you're onboard!

Thanks again for sailing by planDisney, Doug! Wishing you the most magical cruise onboard the Treasure!!

    Bon Voyage,

    Kami
