Hi! My wife and I just returned from our honeymoon at Port Orleans and it was truly wonderful. We want to return either in December or January. When can I make reservations for January?

    Hello John,

Congratulations on your recent wedding! I'm so thrilled to hear that you and your wife enjoyed a magical honeymoon to celebrate the start of your happily ever after. I can't think of a better way to celebrate saying "I do" than at The Most Magical Place on Earth. I hope you felt like royalty as you walked hand in hand down Main Street, U.S.A. I always make a point to congratulate any couples I spot wearing wedding ears when I visit the parks. It's such an exciting time for them and brings such a smile to my face seeing their happiness.

I remember the feeling of "what now?" when my husband and I returned from our honeymoon many years ago. All that wedding planning and travel excitement leaves quite a void to fill once the last batch of honeymoon laundry is folded and put away. You have the added task of beating the post Disney blues, but I find the best cure is planning another trip as soon as possible. Luckily, it seems you and I have the same thought process.

Disney Parks Blog recently shared that 2024 bookings for Walt Disney World Resort will be available beginning May 31. So mark your calendar and start thinking about which Disney Resort Collection Hotel you'd like to experience on your next visit. If you are hoping to reserve another Moderate Resort Hotel, I'd recommend a stay at in the Gran Destino Tower at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. The décor is stunning and you'll have access to some amazing dining options right in the same building. Perhaps you'd like to tempt your palate with The Spaniard for Two, a charcuterie starter available at Toledo - Tapas, Steak & Seafood? Or maybe you'd prefer to toast the end of your evening at Dahlia Lounge which offers beautiful rooftop views and an impressive wine list, too. No matter where you choose to stay, you already know that magic awaits!

Speaking of magic, be sure to make time to watch Happily Ever After at Magic Kingdom Park if you didn't get a chance to do so during your honeymoon. The floating lantern scene from Tangled is pretty romantic if I do say so myself.

John, if we can be of further assistance as you plan your next adventure please don't hesitate to come back and let us know. We'd love to help you continue reaching out to find your own happily ever after with your new bride.

    Magic and memories,
    Amy
