    My wife and I are FL residents going on the Dream, and we are first time cruisers. We will be dropped off picked up by a family member at the terminal. Anything special we need to do for baggage check in/out? I marked private xfer. Is that correct?

    Ahoy Richard!
    Congratulations on your first Disney Cruise adventure!  I hope it will be the first of many magical sailings with Captain Mickey and his seafaring crew!
    It sounds like you will have a relaxing ride over to Disney Cruise Line's spacious terminal and marking private transfers is just fine!  When you approach Port Canaveral, have your family member follow the signs for Disney's terminal and have them let security know that you are being dropped off for your cruise vacation.  The security officers will probably ask for you and your wife's ID before directing you to the passenger drop-off location.  Once you are ready to proceed, you will find porters standing by to assist you with your luggage.  All your bags (except your carry-ons) should be tagged with the luggage tags you will receive in the mail as part of your cruise documentation. ( If this hasn't come yet, it should be any day now.)  Once the porters take your luggage, you will not see it until later that afternoon so make sure to keep any medications and important documents with you.  Once your luggage is out of your hands you will be ready to head into the Disney Cruise Line terminal to begin your vacation on the high seas!
