Hi Scott, welcome to planDisney!
Dining at Walt Disney World is such a special experience, and I really want your whole family to find the same joy. Let me assure you that dining at Disney just hits differently. Every time we've visited, our kids have felt welcome, and, generally, our experience has felt (dare I say it) easy – even with rambunctious toddlers. Service is quick and friendly.
I can break down my advice into two categories. One would be to enjoy
à la carte table service meals. That way, you're only paying for what is ordered. You can filter all the restaurants at Walt Disney World into this category to help you narrow down your choices. You know best as to what will please your kiddos' appetites but our kids always devour a pizza from
Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria.
However, my favourite and totally unique dining experience at Disney has to be
Character Dining. I’ll never forget how mesmerised my little ones were when
characters first visited our table. Utter Disney magic.
Topolino's Terrace (breakfast only) at Disney's Rivera Resort might be the perfect combo of à la carte table service and character interactions for your family. I think most kids can't help but be tempted by a Mickey waffle.
I also highly recommend
Garden Grill Restaurant in EPCOT. The food is delicious, the character interactions are super fun, and you might like knowing that some ingredients are grown in the nearby greenhouse. I suggest riding
Living with the Land before your meal – it’s cool to hear about their sustainable farming practices. Please know that at such character experiences, there will be a fixed price per Guest aged 3 and above.
I hope this helps you plan many magical meals with your family, Scott. Feel free to reach out to us at planDisney with any further questions. Enjoy your dining adventures and more at Walt Disney World!
