My wife is pregnant and we were wondering if Smugglers Run and Rise of the Resistance are off limits for expectant mothers. Neither ride is listed (that I’ve seen) on either pregnancy or height advisories. Thanks!

Bright Suns, Jesse! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Congratulations on the upcoming birth of your little one. You are going to have a very exciting year!

As someone who has visited Walt Disney World Resort many times while expecting, I can wholeheartedly say that there are plenty of attractions for your wife to enjoy. While there are a few attractions with warnings that expectant mothers should not ride, the majority of attractions at the Walt Disney World resort are pregnancy-friendly!

You and your wife will be amazed by your visit to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge as you journey to the planet of Batuu, however both Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance have signage posted outside of the attraction stating that expectant mothers should not ride. Fear not, Jesse! There is still plenty for your wife to enjoy “in a Galaxy Far, Far Away.” In the Marketplace, you can grab a few local specialties at Oga’s Cantina, dine at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo, and enjoy some out of this world shopping. A visit to Savi’s Workshop or the Droid Depot to create a custom lightsaber or droid is an attraction all it’s own!

While you are in Batuu, be sure to download the Play Disney Parks mobile app. This app will turn your smartphone into your very own Star Wars: Datapad, allowing you to interact with the land in a way never before seen in this galaxy!

Jesse, when I was pregnant and visiting Walt Disney World, it helped to build in a little downtime into our itinerary where I could rest. One of the best places to do this was at the Baby Care Centers, which are conveniently located in each park! So whenever your wife would like to relax for a bit and kick her feet up, don’t be afraid to drop in!

I hope this answered your question, Jesse. Please come back on over to the Disney Parks Moms Panel for if we can answer any other questions about a Walt Disney World Vacation while expecting, or anything else!
