Hello, my wife is pregnant with our third child so we'll be coming with a 5yr old and a 3yr old. Can we use rider swap so that each child can ride with Dad sitting next to them on rides with only 2 across like Slinky Dog? Ex: Dad + 5yr THEN Dad + 3yr

    Hello Mike!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.   First and foremost congratulations on the newest little mouseketeer you will be adding to your family.  I have traveled to Walt Disney World when I was pregnant and shortly after giving birth to my third child so I can understand your concern for wanting your older two children to experience all the rides that mom cannot at the moment.   Have no fear we are here to help.

Rider Switch  is a system for just your situation.  It allows Guests who do not meet a height requirement or Guests who does not wish to board an attraction the opportunity to wait with a child while another party rides the attraction.   When that party has finished the waiting party can ride the attraction without having to wait in the normal queue.   To utilize this service simply check with a Cast Member at the entrance to see if the service is offered on that particular attraction.   The entire party needs to approach the Cast Member and ask for a Rider Switch Pass.   Once you have this pass  you can ride the attraction with your first child, while your wife waits with the other.   Once you have ridden simply swap children with your wife and you will be able to ride again with your second child without having to wait in the normal queue again. Keep in mind your wife can experience a lot of attractions with you and your children.  I have complied a list of attractions expectant mothers should not ride.    Be sure to keep her hydrated and rest her feet as often as possible.  (Mickey Ice Cream bars and Dole Whips help too.)

I hope this has helped.  Please let me know what else I can answer for you.   Lending a helping hand to fellow Guests is what I enjoy most.
