The dream that I wished came true! Hi my name is Jen, and I am happier than
Pooh with a Hunny Pot to be a member of planDisney. While I will always consider Michigan my home, my husband transplanted me in the south 18 years ago, turning a midwest farmer's daughter into a true "Southern Belle." Soon after receiving a degree in elementary education from Michigan State University, the travel bug hit hard, and I became a supervisor for a major airline. My airline position allowed many opportunities for my family and I to show our "Disney Side" throughout the years. During the weekdays, you can find me running to dance class, soccer and baseball practice or volunteering at my little ones school. On the weekends, you can find me exploring Alabama's beautiful Gulf Coast waterways or cheering on my favorite team, the Auburn University Tigers. (WAR EAGLE!) No matter how busy my life can be, I always find time to help someone plan a vacation to my "happy place," the Walt Disney World Resort.
About My Family
A dull moment is never to be had in our household. I married my partner in crime, a semi-professional soccer player turned senior manager at a software firm. Happily married going on 16 years, we have brought three distinctly different bundles of joy into our family. Our teenage daughter is a feisty, free-spirited soul. Our oldest son, is sensitive, imaginative and always willing to lend a helping hand. Our littlest blessing, is a thrill-seeker who is always searching for his next adventure. We consider Walt Disney World our second home. My daughter runs to the Harmony Barber Shop each time we enter the Magic Kingdom to see if her favorite Cast Member is waiting for a hug. My sons yell "STOP!" when they see the Aloha Isle sign in Adventureland so we can share a beloved Dole Whip Float. Being at Walt Disney World allows my family to let loose and show that we truly are the family that will never grow up!
About My Disney Experience
Walt Disney World has been a part of my life since 1987, the year I wore my Daisy Duck hat with its enormous bill for weeks after I left the resort. After that first magical trip, yearly Christmas vacations with more than 25 people became a holiday tradition. Through the years I have traveled while pregnant, with newborns, and even with spunky, 90-year-old grandmothers. I have been fortunate enough to have stayed at every level of available accommodations — from the Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground to the Deluxe Villas of the Disney Vacation Club. As a mom of three children, I know how to stretch a Disney dollar, insuring I get the most bang for my buck. The best advice I can give about Walt Disney World is something I tell myself every vacation: don't worry if you don't see or do everything because you can always come back. I am so excited to share my love of Disney magic with other guests, showing how a Disney Resort vacation can be right at any stage in life. Remember all it takes is a little "Faith, Trust and Pixie Dust" to make your Disney dreams come true!
