Hi, Josh!
Thanks so much for reaching out to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I'm super excited you get to experience Walt Disney World Resort after you've experienced Disneyland Resort a number of times. I grew up visiting Disney World, so I had the opposite experience of visiting Disneyland after knowing the Florida parks really well. I'm going to try to reverse my experiences to help you have an amazing visit to Disney World.
I think the first park you must visit is Magic Kingdom Park. You will be able to compare and contrast it to Disneyland and I think you will be amazed! You will feel at home but quickly discover many differences. I wish I could be there to see you and your wife's reactions! If you have Park Hopper tickets, I would also recommend visiting Epcot on your first day. Those two parks are the most classic. You can take the parks
Monorail to get to Epcot. It is a bit shocking when you see the distance between each park. You can't easily walk to the different parks like you can between Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure Park!
On your second day, I'd recommend visiting Disney's Hollywood Studios if you love Star Wars. If you love animals, I'd recommend checking out Animal Kingdom Theme Park! You might have time to visit each park a little in one day just to get the tastes of each one if you use
Disney's Bus Transportation with a Park Hopper. All four of the parks are full of fun.
I am so excited for your visit! I hope you can soak in as much Disney World as possible in your two days. I know it's going to be unforgettable!
