Hi Bruce! I think a date night at Disney World is a fantastic idea! Disney has some wonderful upscale gourmet restaurants, and while children are welcome at almost all of them, it can sometimes be much more relaxing for the parents to dine without the stress of trying to keep the kids quiet and entertained during the meal.
The Children's Activity Centers cost approximately $11.50 per child
per hour, with a two-hour minimum. The fee, which of course is always subject to change, includes dinner. Most of the child care centers are open from
4:30 pm to midnight, but the Never Land club generally opens at 4 p.m.
Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling 407-939-3463. I've often been able to make last-minute reservations, but if you're traveling at a busy time you may not be so lucky, so it's best to reserve in advance. My children haven't tried Simba's Clubhouse, but they have visited the Never Land Club and had a great time there. They loved climbing through the window to enter the Club, the room full of video
game machines, and participating in lots of crafts and art activities.
Hope you have a magical vacation! Come see us again at the Moms Panel if
you have more questions!
