Hey there, hi there, Brian!
The holidays - it's the most wonderful time of the year to visit
Walt Disney World in my opinion. I love the lights, the garlands, and my kids would argue that I have more photos of Christmas wreaths at Disney World than I have of them.
With special events like
Disney Very Merriest After Hours usually taking place select nights beginning the first week of November, you'll see Magic Kingdom Park transformed literally overnight from a fall fantasy to all the holiday highlights. By mid-November, most of the rest of Walt Disney World has followed suit, as you'll see Christmas trees going up at the
Disney Resorts Collection hotels and the theme parks become decked out in their holiday glory.
The
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays usually begins the day after Thanksgiving, so if you can stay through the week, you'll get to enjoy the holiday cookie stroll, the amazing food from the holiday kitchens, and my favorite thing to do during the holidays - the
Candlelight Processional. Oh, the holiday spirit! This show has all the feels, with a celebrity narrated version of the classic Christmas story and an amassed choir and orchestra highlighting the event with beautiful holiday music.
I hope you get to enjoy some of the Yuletide festivities and decor while you're visiting Walt Disney World, Brian. It's made for some magical memories for my family throughout the years, and I hope it does for you as well.
