    My wife and I are going to MK for the day then dinner at California Grill @ 7:30. In Jan MK is closed @ 8pm. Do u think I would be able to leave my car at MK parking lot and use monorail from MK to Contemporary? Then pick up car after dinner? Thank you!!

    Hi, Adrian!  There are usually buses and other transportation running up to two hours after a theme park closes.  You should probably be okay to get back to the Magic Kingdom, but it may be tight.

    I always find that we linger a bit longer over a meal at the California Grill, and you might still find yourself enjoying the end of your meal as it closes in on 10:00.  The Contemporary Resort will allow you to park your car there if you are dining there, as long as you let the security guard know your plans.  They give you a short term parking pass, which lets you park in the resort parking lot. 

    Another option is a taxi.  You can take a taxi from the Transportation and Ticket Center to the resort, then take a cab back to the parking lot.

    If you're careful and watch your time, you may be able to get back to your car without any problem.  But you may find yourself having such a wonderful time at the California Grill, that time gets away and you're rushing.
