    My wife and I are looking at going to Walt Disney World in December; will we be required to purchase any additional tickets for the Magic Kingdom for a Christmas celebration?

    Hello, Mark! December is a magical time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. Millions of festive lights, garlands and ornaments deck the walls to add an extra-special feel to the Disney Parks experience.

    You do not need to purchase additional tickets to experience the theme parks at their holiday best, with the exception of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. This event is held on select evenings at Magic Kingdom Park, and requires a special event ticket. I had the pleasure of attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party last December, and it was a festive evening of celebration that I will not soon forget. Please keep in mind that you may need to purchase tickets to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party in advance of your visit, as some nights do fill to capacity.
