My wife and I are looking at going to Disney World for the 1st time with my kids Son 8, Daughters, 5, and 3. Looking for best resort and parks for younger kids. Any suggestions?

Hi, Bryan!  While I could make an argument that any park is great for younger kids, based on experiences with my three daughters, the absolute must see for my kids has always been the Magic Kingdom.  There seems to be something for everyone there, and everyone in my family, from my four year old through my 18 year old, can find something to do and rides to enjoy.

Our other family favorite is EPCOT.  Now that my four year old has reached the height restriction on things like Soarin' and Test Track, there is even more for her to enjoy, but even before that, she loves Figment and his Journey Into Imagination; and she gets a kick out of Ellen's Energy Adventure.  All the girls enjoy the Living Seas, and Nemo and Friends make it even more of a must do attraction.  Living with the Land boat ride is another popular attraction with my girls.

As for which resort is best, I think each resort has it's own appeal for children, so it really depends on budget.  I can recommend things to do at each of the resorts, from the All Stars and Pop Century, all the way through the deluxe resorts.  My kids love the All Star Movies resort, with its giant movie icons, and Animal Kingdom Lodge is a favorite, especially a savanna view room.  We love the pool area at Coronado Springs Resort, as well as the Port Orleans French Quarter theme.

Feel free to follow up with some more information.  I'll do my very best to help you plan a trip your whole family will enjoy!
