    My wife and I are leaving for FLorida this coming Friday. We will be traveling with our son, pregnant daughter-in-law & 17 month old grandson. Is he too young to take for a one day pass to Disney? Our children think he will have nothing to do there.

    I first took my twins to WDW when they were nine months old and we all had a great time. Plus, children under age three are free at WDW, so that's a big advantage to going now right there.

    The thing to remember about Disney World is that they know that entire families travel there together -- that's the way Walt designed it. So there really is something for everyone. So, is your grandson going to be able to do the rollercoasters? No. Is he going to have a great time looking at the wonderful colors on the Small World ride? Yes. Your grandson's favorite things at WDW may have nothing to do with rides at all. When my girls were toddlers, we just loved watching them learn about the real world at Disney World. I couldn't get enough of seeing their faces when they got wet in a fountain at Epcot. Or watching their reactions to the giant topiary sculptures.
