    Hi Moms! My wife has an incurable need for Mickey Waffles. Where within the theme parks can one find them? Not an earth-shattering question, but one of high importance around here.

    You have come to the right place. I completely understand the importance of the Mickey waffle! Your wife is a wise woman.

    As a first step you should check out a post called "Mickey Waffles" on the website DisneyFoodBlog.com (full disclosure - I contribute to this blog).

    My favorite place for Mickey Waffles is the Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom. The last several times I've been there, they have served both regular and CHOCOLATE Mickey waffles. YUM!

    At the Animal Kingdom, you can get Mickey waffles in the character breakfast buffet at Tusker House.

    At Disney's Hollywood Studios, the Play & Dine character meal serves Mickey waffles.

    If you're not in the mood for sit-down, a great counter service spot for this treat is the Sleepy Hollow stand in the Magic Kingdom's Liberty Square. This quick serve venue mostly sells delish funnel cake, but they also have a long row of Mickey Waffle makers in the back. You can even get them served with fruit or ice cream. Be aware that these are large plate-sized waffles, not the palm-sized ones available in many of the restaurants.

    If you're OK with going out of the parks, many of the resorts have Mickey waffles in their restaurants. My favorite of these is Ohana at the Polynesian. The breakfast meal there features a cast member with a giant basket of Mickey waffles. He just walks around to all the tables passing them out. It's like the restaurant has its very own waffle fairy sprinkling toasty warm love throughout the land. Sigh.
