    My wife and I are headed to WDW for the first time with our 16 yr old son and 13 yr old twin girls. We are not staying on WDW property. We are thinking of doing a 2 day ticket with park hopper option. What are the best attractions for kids this age?

    Howdy Chris!   It sounds like you are in for an amazing adventure with your teens at Walt Disney World.   I have a daughter around the same age so I went straight to the source and asked some of her Disney "must-dos".  I'm happy to share what she had to say. (Along with some ideas of my own.)

    1.  All 3 mountains at Magic Kingdom.  (Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Splash Mountain.)
    2. Visit with favorite Disney characters and ask them funny questions, you never know what reaction you may get.
    3.  Ride Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith and see who can take the best on ride photo as you take off at 60 miles per hour. 
    4.  Take a hunt for a Yeti at Disney's Animal Kingdom while enjoying my personal favorite attraction,  Expedition Everest- Legend of the Forbidden Mountain. 
    5. Spend lots of time exploring Pandora the World of Avatar.   My daughter HIGHLY recommends Avatar Flight of Passage.  In her opinion it's the BEST RIDE EVER!  
    Chris, no matter how you plan to spend your 2 magical days at Walt Disney World I know your kids will have a vacation filled with memories that will last a lifetime; Not only for them but for you too.  Remember what Peter Pan says, "never grow up".   At Walt Disney World you don't have to.
