My wife and I will be having bariatric surgery this fall and We are planning a trip to WDW in Feb 2019. Do the restaurant at Disney Springs & EPCOT allow adults to share a dinner meal if we are not on the dinning plan. Thank you for your help.

    Hi Edward,

I’m so excited that you and your wife will be able to enjoy an amazing vacation next February to the most magical place on earth!

There are definitely some delicious dining options available at Epcot and Disney Springs, and I’m happy to let you know that you and your wife will be able to share meals at most restaurants. It is possible that you’ll be charged a small plating fee for sharing, though. The exception will be at buffet, family style, and some prix-fixe restaurants, where each individual Guest will be charged separately regardless of how much they eat.

I’d definitely encourage you to make dining reservations at any Table-Service restaurants you’d like to enjoy as soon as possible. Dining reservations may be made up to 180 days in advance, and if you’re staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you’ll be able to make reservations for the entire length of your trip, up to 10 days, at that 180-day point.

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Edward, and please let us know if you have any other questions as you’re planning your trip. I hope that you and your wife have a truly magical...and delicious...vacation!
