Hi Troy,
Welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you are devising a great way to beat the Florida summer heat. We regularly leave the theme parks at Disney World and return later in the day when it is nice and cool outside! The theme parks come alive at night and have a whole different vibe to enjoy that should not be missed.
Regardless of the
ticket type that you purchase, you will be able to return to the same theme park as many times as you wish throughout the same day. You will only be able to enter one theme park each day if you purchase the 1 Park Per Day ticket. If you add the
Park Hopper Option, you can go to any of the 4 Disney World theme parks as many times as you want in a day. I enjoy the added Park Hopper Option because sometimes I like to change it up after my afternoon break and head to a different theme park for dinner and a few rides! Keep in mind that readmission to a theme park will still be subject to capacity restrictions. If you are visiting during a super busy time, you may want to return earlier or make plans to stay the entire day. This typically only happens during holidays, so I would not worry too much about it.
During the summer months, I also like to add some late-afternoon dining reservations for a great place to cool down and relax inside. At Magic Kingdom, my favorite place to do this is at
Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen. The food is delicious, the drinks are a great way to relax, and the cast members are hilarious! My go-to meal here is a Jungle Green Salad, Fried Rice, and Sunset Margarita. If you are on an adventure around the World Showcase at EPCOT, I love stopping by
Le Cellier Steakhouse for some of the Signature Poutine and the best steak at Disney World.
Happy Planning,
Jenna
