Ahoy Tom!
Thanks for sailing by planDisney with this question. January is one of my family's favorite times of year to cruise. We love the relaxing retreat after the holiday rush and have had beautiful weather on our last two winter sailings. I think you and your wife are already set for a magical
Disney Cruise Line voyage!
Though we have enjoyed getting to know some of our fellow cruisers on past sailings, I can absolutely understand wanting to have a table all to yourselves for dinner each evening. You can make special requests under the
My Reservations link online when you hover over the "Already Booked" link toward the top of the page. Alternatively, you can
call in to speak with Cast Member to note any preferences. Though requests are not guaranteed, we've been pretty successful. In fact, I called in to request a particular
rotational dining assignment for my recent
Disney Wish cruise and was pleasantly surprised that the request was granted when I received my Key to the World Card. I'll cross my fingers you'll be successful too!
Keep in mind that you can always visit the
Guest Services Desk during your sailing for additional assistance. I did just that as soon as we boarded the ship last week, as I was hoping to adjust a reservation my husband and I made at
Enchanté. I was directed to the dining team and they were able to work their magic to switch our reservation faster than I could say "bibbidi-bobbidi-boo!"
You'll be ready to set sail before you know it, Tom! I hope you enjoy each meal from appetizers to signature desserts. Be sure to save room for a sweet treat at the end of the evening.
Room service is available 24 hours a day and there's never a bad time to request warm chocolate chip cookies and milk to enjoy together in your stateroom.
Wishing you a magical sailing!
Amy
