Oh boy (or girl), Eudoro!
How exciting that you and your wife are planning to celebrate your baby’s big reveal with Mickey and Minnie at Disneyland! My family welcomed a new little Mouseketeer this year, so I know firsthand how magical these moments can be.
The winter holidays are such a magical time to visit, and adding a gender reveal will make it even more unforgettable. I can almost hear Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather shouting, “
Make it pink! Make it Blue!” in anticipation!
If you want to include Mickey and Minnie in your gender reveal, here's a playful idea: pick out two dolls, one representing Mickey and the other Minnie, and make sure they're the same price (no peeking!). Ask the Cast Member helping you with your purchase to put the correct plush in a bag for you to take. Then, take that special bag to
your favorite character and let them be the ones to give you the good news. How about
visiting Mickey at his home for a more private experience?
Some other fun items to use for gender reveals include the classic Mickey balloons in pink or blue, cotton candy in the corresponding color, and complimentary celebration buttons from one of the merchandise shops!
Last week, I got to visit
The Mad Hatter shop in Fantasyland with my newest little prince to get him his very first pair of personalized ears! Choose the baby's first Mickey Ears and hand your secret envelope to the Cast Member who will personalize your hat. They can use pink or blue thread to embroider "It's a..." and wrap it up for you to open together or with Mickey and Minnie!
I hope these ideas help you celebrate your Happily Ever After at The Happiest Place On Earth next month, Eudoro! If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to
reach out again and I'll be able to respond more quickly. I'm always here to share my favorite
tips or
suggestions.
Anything your heart desires will come to you,Danielle
