My wife and I are going to Disney World in January, we are staying at the Pop Century. I was wondering if anyone knew if it was quicker to go from Pop to Magic via bus or Skyliner and then Monorail?

    Hi there, Sal!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting to be visiting Walt Disney World Resort in January!

Last October, I enjoyed a lovely stay at Disney's Pop Century Resort and loved the fun theming and refurbished Guest rooms, which feature a coffee maker, mini-refrigerator and hardwood flooring. You are going to love being able to travel to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios via the Disney Skyliner.

When traveling from Disney's Pop Century Resort, the gondola system will drop Guests at the International Gateway (back entrance) at Epcot. The Epcot Monorail drops Guests at the front entrance of the park so you would need park admission in order to access the monorail system. After boarding the monorail at Epcot, you would then need to transfer to the Express Monorail bound for Magic Kingdom Park at the Transportation and Ticket Center. From Disney's Pop Century Resort, I believe you will find it to be much quicker to travel to Magic Kingdom Park by bus. You will not need to make any transfers when traveling by bus, and the buses drop Guests off near the main entrance to the park.

I hope this information has been helpful to you, Sal. Please stop by again with any new questions. We would love to assist you further in planning a magical trip!

    Happy Travels,
    Jodie
