My wife is a Disney Premier Visa cardholder, and it shows up under the Membership section of her My Disney Experience account. She set me up as an authorized user on the credit card. How do I add the card membership to My Disney Experience profile?

Cha-ching, Blake, and welcome to planDisney! You'll be at Walt Disney World Resort in a jingle, so let's look at how your Disney Premier Visa can make your visit more magical.

As a Disney Visa cardholder, I was intrigued by your question, so I did some research on my account. My card wasn't linked, so I added it online by hovering over the My Disney Experience tab and clicking the Profile link under my name.

I chose Payment Method and clicked Add a Payment Method to enter my Disney Visa details. The card affiliation did not show up immediately in my Membership & Passes list, so I called the My Disney Experience helpline.

The Cast Member said it could take up to 48 hours for the card affiliation to appear in the Membership section, but she added that most perks and discounts typically require you to show the physical card. She advised that your card may not show up under membership, but I think it's worth trying.

My favorite cardholder perks are the exclusive photo opportunities. My favorite is at Disney's Hollywood Studios where I've had several different experiences. Most recently, I had an interaction with Darth Vader himself. Was I nervous? Of course not! I had the Force on my side.

Another tip is that I recently redeemed my Disney Visa Reward Dollars inside the theme park! I popped into Guest Relations at City Hall in Frontierland at Magic Kingdom Park and picked up a packet that allowed me to load my Disney Visa Reward Dollars on a card immediately. I had $25 to spend in the parks! That's what I call magic.

Blake, I hope your upcoming visit is priceless. Please stop by planDisney because we love "spending" time with guests!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
