Hi there, Gerald!
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for stopping by with an excellent
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. It sounds like you'll be making your way to The Most Magical Place on Earth
very soon - how exciting! As a fellow foodie, dining is always one of my favorite parts of any Walt Disney World Resort visit. I'm here to help you prepare for a couple of magical meals!
Gerald, when you dine at an in-park restaurant around the same time a theme park closes, you're provided with an extra special experience: exiting your restaurant to a calm, quiet theme park. (This sometimes allows for excellent photo opportunities near the park icons!) I'm happy to share that, typically,
complimentary bus transportation runs until approximately one hour after the theme parks close. If your dining experience extends beyond the scheduled bus hours, you could look into
Disney Minnie Van service to swiftly deliver you back to Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. (Check the Lyft mobile app for the most up-to-date availability!) Alternatively, a third-party rideshare service would be another option.
I did notice that both Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park and EPCOT have
extended evening hours scheduled for this week. On these evenings that select theme parks are open for after-hours events like this, bus transportation is offered until approximately one hour after the event ends! Therefore, if your dining reservation falls on one of these evenings, you'll likely have access to bus transportation even if your dinner runs long.
Gerald, I hope you've found these details helpful and I wish you an especially memorable time at the Walt Disney World Resort. If you have any additional questions about your upcoming getaway, you're always welcome to revisit us right here at
planDisney. We're all ears!
See ya real soon,
Lauren
