My wife and I have very different food tastes. Is it feasible for us to buy counter service lunches at two different countries in Epcot and then carry them to a convienent third location with outdoor tables and eat together?

    Hi Gary,

You're welcome to take your tray of food from one World Showcase counter service restaurant and bring it to another. So, for example, you could bring your sausage purchased in Germany over to the UK and sit with your wife eating her fish and chips. The only issue with this is the walking distance. The World Showcase loop is about a mile long. If you choose to get your food from countries on opposite sides of the World, then you'll be walking for quite a distance with your tray. You food may get cold. You may spill your drink, etc.

However, if you choose countries that are next to each other, then your plan may be easier to execute. Another solution would be to eat at Sunshine Seasons in the Future World section of Epcot. They serve a variety of food options suited to different palates. There is rotisserie chicken, sandwiches, soup, salads, and a range of Asian noodles. This gives a range of choices under one roof.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
