    My wife and I will be coming to Disney World this coming January. We are planning on buying a Disney gift card mainly for spending on our meals. Can we put the gift card on our account and use our magic bands when we purchase food or any other purchases

    Yee-Haw, it is so good to see you here at the planDisney round-up. 

    Michael, we here at planDisney love a good Disney Gift Card, and lucky for you, we have a few tips to help make you the fastest swipe in the West. 

    There is currently no option to load your gift card directly onto that newfangled bracelet that they call a MagicBand, but you will be able to use both to pay for your frontier fare.

    When you complete your online resort check-in, select the option that will allow your MagicBand to have charging privileges. Then, when you go to pay for your meals and any other supplies, just charge to your MagicBand. Once you are ready to settle up on your bill, head on over to the front desk where the Cast Members will refund your card and apply your gift card.
