Wife & I will check in on 31 Aug using a military salute ticket. My son & wife will check in on 3 sept. Can I get them a salute ticket even though they are checking in 3 days later. Can I activate their tickets after we do ours? Thanks

Hi there, Roger! Welcome back to planDisney with another question. I am happy to help!

From all of us at planDisney, thank you for your service! The Disney Military Salute ticket is a wonderful option for military families visiting Walt Disney World Resort. As the servicemember, you can purchase up to six Salute tickets per year, including your own. When you arrive at your first theme park, stop by Guest Relations to activate, and once your son and daughter-in-law arrive, you can do theirs then. What you can do once you purchase everyone's tickets is link them to your My Disney Experience mobile app, and make Theme Park Reservations for everyone. Make sure your other two guests are added to your Family & Friends List! If this step hasn't been done, Hakuna Matata! Here's what you need to do:

    • Open your app and select the "☰" icon. Scroll down to "My Profile". Select "Family & Friends List", and if your son and daughter-in-law aren't there, select "Add a Guest" and follow the steps to add both of them.

While you're at Guest Relations, ask about the military discount for Memory Maker! At $98 for military families (subject to change) it is a great deal. I love to utilize this discount on every visit.

I hope all of this information helped, Roger! Thank you for visiting planDisney. Have a magical visit in August!

    Happy Planning!
