Hi Ryan,

Happy first Walt Disney World Resorts vacation! I love that your first vacation is going to include your parents as this will make for a memorable vacation.

May is the beginning of the summer vacation season. The parks will begin to see the additional crowds as the summer has started with Memorial Day weekend. However, it should not be as busy as you get further into June as the Northern states begin to head out on summer vacation.

One park which will be crowded on the weekend will be Disney's Hollywood Studios as Star Wars weekend will be happening. This fun even takes place over the weekend and is a must for any Star Wars fan.
