Welcome to the Magic Key family! Isn't it wonderful to know that you'll have an entire year of magical experiences unlocked for you to enjoy together? Usually, when you link your
Magic Key Pass to your MyDisney account, you should see some of those Magic Key Holder effects such as the welcome banner updated. However, I noticed that sometimes Guests will need to manually update this in their
Profile section of the MyDisney account. Simply log in and select "Profile" and then navigate to the "Memberships & Passes" section where you'll see any existing affiliations (along with applicable expiration dates if you're ever wondering about your Magic Key
renewal window!) If you don't happen to see your Magic Key listed there, you can scroll down and follow the prompts to "Link Memberships and Passes to your Account." Once that is successfully linked, you should see your account updated with the Magic Key Pass information!
On a related note, I received a notification today that my phone's
Disneyland mobile app needed to be updated to the latest version. Sometimes, key features of the app will not be available if you're running an older version so it's always a good idea to keep it up to date!
Finally, Daniel, if you're still running into technical issues, I suggest reaching out to a Cast Member for direct assistance either by phone using the dedicated
Magic Key Holder line or through the chat function in the mobile app. Both should connect you to someone who can help you access your account and get it updated so you can fully enjoy the Magic Key Holder benefits!
