    My wife and I will be boarding the Disney Dream next week. This will be our 5th Disney Cruise. My question is will we receive our Gold lanyard when we board this cruise or do we have to wait until we board our 6th Disney Cruise?

    Hey there!  Hi there!  Ho there, Dave!

    I am excited as can be to hear that you and your wife are part of the club made for you and me, Disney Cruise Line’s Castaway Club!  It is always thrilling to reach that next milestone, but the best part is the fun of getting there.  Congratulations on your fifth adventure with Captain Mickey!

    You and your wife will officially be gold Castaway Club members once you complete your fifth cruise.  This means you will begin to receive all the fabulous benefits associated with gold status, including that beautiful gold lanyard, once you set sail on your sixth cruise.

    Before you leave, check out all of the great itineraries available for your next adventure.  Once onboard, look for special sales offers in your stateroom and head to the Onboard Sales Desk (Deck 4, Midship) to make reservations to sail with Captain Mickey again!

    If you haven’t sailed on the Disney Dream before, don’t miss Vanellope’s Sweets and Treats!  Unique to this ship, this dessert shop is often my family’s first stop for some gelato and ice cream to celebrate the start of our cruise.  On our last sailing, we finally finished Ralph’s Family Challenge Sundae.  Then we took a sugar induced nap!
