Disney’s Contemporary Resort was one of the original resort hotels in 1971. In its early years, the resort was home to Top of the World, a dining experience with beautiful views of
Magic Kingdom Park. Today, that space is
California Grill - a picture-perfect location for an upscale meal that you won’t soon forget. You can even catch breathtaking views of
Happily Ever After from here during or after your dinner. At
EPCOT, I enjoy dinner at
La Hacienda de San Angel. The menu is full of fabulous choices (I suggest starting with the Queso Fundido), and the views of
Luminous The Symphony of Us can't be beat if you can grab a reservation near the end of the evening.
Disney's BoardWalk is another wonderful option for a romantic evening. One of my favorite "hidden gem" restaurants is
Ale & Compass Restaurant at Disney's Yacht Club Resort. After dinner, you can grab an ice cream at the window of
Beaches & Cream Soda Shop to enjoy while strolling the BoardWalk area. For something extra special, you might want to check out a
Fireworks Cruise departing from the marina at Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts. Reservations for fireworks cruises open 60 days before your visit and offer a memorable view of the show without the crowds - a true VIP experience! There are several other great options in the
Enchanting Extras Collection if you're looking for additional ideas to celebrate.
As you continue planning, keep in mind that
advanced dining reservations are also available beginning 60 days before your trip. If you're staying at a
