My wife accidentally erased herself from our Disney app and now we can not see her on our reservation

    Hiya, DeWayne! Welcome to planDisney!

I'm so excited to hear that you'll be headed to The Most Magical Place on Earth this June! Magic will be waiting for you around every corner, especially with The Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration in full swing. Be sure to check out the Beacons of Magic in each of the parks which light up the night in new and exciting ways! Also, the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival will be in full bloom for your visit. You won't want to miss sampling the outdoor kitchens and exploring the character topiaries (make sure you find Kermit, my favorite!).

But oh, bother! Before we can get you immersed in the magic, we have to make sure that we can link your wife through your My Disney Experience account! I have a few next steps we can take to try to turn this pumpkin of a problem back into a carriage. Let me just grab my magic wand!

    • First, you may want to try to link your wife through your Family & Friends List. Log into your account online, hover your mouse over the My Disney Experience tab, and click My Family & Friends. Scroll down a bit and click Add a Guest. Choose "Import from a Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation." Enter your confirmation number and the last name on the reservation to try to locate your wife's name and link her to your account.
    • You could also try to link your wife through your My Disney Experience app! Log into your app and tap the icon that looks like three stacked lines in the bottom right corner. Scroll down a bit and tap My Profile, then toggle over to Family & Friends List. Tap "Add a Guest" and choose "Scan their linking code." Your wife will want to open her My Disney Experience app (logged into her own account). She will then tap the icon that looks like three stacked lines, then scroll down and tap My Profile. She can scroll to the bottom of this page and select Show My Linking Code. This is the code you'll scan on your phone to link her!
    • If you have any problems with the above steps, I'd recommend reaching out to a Cast Member. They're a little like real-life fairy godparents who can stretch their magic wands a bit farther for us! You could reach out through the Chat feature on the My Disney Experience app by tapping the option Chat With Us. You can leave a message and a Cast Member will get back to you as soon as they're able! Pro tip: include as much information as you can, including your wife's name, the email address associated with her account, and your confirmation number. This will help the Cast Member to locate your information easily and efficiently! You could also call a Cast Member to speak with someone directly. If you do decide to call, I'd recommend calling right at 7:00 AM EST when phone lines open since their magic can sometimes be in high demand.
DeWayne, I hope I was able to help you with your Walt Disney World Resort reservations today. If you have any other questions, please visit us again! After all, you've got a friend in me.

    See ya real soon!
