Welcome to planDisney, Pamel.
As the mom and sister-in-law of military members, please accept my heartfelt thanks for your husband's service and my condolences for your loss. We appreciate him and you and your sacrifice for our country.
According to the
official rules, "Eligible Members" for the discounted military tickets are active or retired members of the US military, including the Reservists, the US Coast Guard, the US Space Force, the National Guard, the Commissioned Corps of the Public Health Service (PHS), and the Commissioned Corps of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). As the widow of a fallen service member (as long as you are not remarried), you are eligible for the same
Disney Military Benefits as active and retired members, including discounts on park tickets and resort rates.
You can purchase up to six tickets (including one for yourself), and you must accompany your party to the parks at participating
US Military sales outlets. You have to purchase in person, and make sure to bring your military ID with you. If other ticket promos are going on, you must choose between that and your military discount, as the military benefits can't be combined with other discount offers.
If you plan on staying at a resort hotel, you can
call Disney reservations to book and receive a discount. You are limited to two rooms per booking for the discount, and you must stay in one of the rooms. Bring your military ID for check-in; otherwise, you will be charged the regular room rate.
Pamel, if you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to come back to us. I wish you a
magical visit!
