Why are all the rooms booked and how do I know if my time in staying at the resort is over?

    Welcome to planDisney, Talya!

To me, nothing beats the magic of staying on-site at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. The fun and festive decor, spectacular food, and complimentary transportation to the theme parks keeps me coming back for more every year.

Talya, if you are searching for a resort, and nothing is showing up as available, it could be for a couple of reasons.

Not every Walt Disney World Resort is currently taking reservations at this time. My best advice would be to search all hotels, and not look at a specific one. If you have your heart set on a specific resort, you can check its operating status on the Experience Updates section of the Walt Disney World Resort website.

Additionally, if you navigated to the hotel search page through the "Special Offers" section of the website, you may only see the results that are applicable to that special offer. Make sure you are searching from the homepage of the website.

You will also want to ensure that you are searching for a room that matches your party. If you are searching for a room for 6-people, only suites will appear leading to fewer search results. You may have better luck with two standard hotel rooms.

For my family, staying in the bubble of Walt Disney World Resort is absolutely worth it. Nothing quite beats walking in the lobby and being greeted by a friendly Cast Member before taking a quick trip to the park. I also love that the variety of resorts give us a new experience on each trip. No other destination in the world allows us to spend the night in a national park at Disney's Wilderness Lodge before escaping to the islands at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort

In addition to all the benefits that guests receive. Did you know that coming soon Walt Disney World Resort hotel guests are entitled to enter the theme parks 30 minutes early every day? Stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for more details.

I hope that this gave you a bit of guidance, Talya. Please come back here to planDisney if we can answer any other questions about where to stay, play, or dine at Walt Disney World Resort.

    See you real soon!
