Why are there no hours listed for Mickey's Toontown in Disneyland in October? Is it closing? That is our main reason for going to California.

Hi, Karen! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel and asking your question.

My family absolutely loves Mickey’s Toontown so I completely understand why it’s on the top of your must-do list! Worry not! Operating hours for Mickey’s Toontown tend to populate the schedule a little later than everything else. I would guess that within the next week or so, you will see hours posted for your travel dates. One thing to know about operating hours in October is that schedules can vary due to Mickey’s Halloween Party which takes place on select nights. On party nights, Mickey’s Toontown will close earlier than the rest of the park to prepare for the party. If you happen to have tickets to Mickey’s Halloween Party, plan to start your night in Mickey’s Toontown as there is a “pre-party” that takes place including trick-or-treating and character experiences an hour or two before the official start of the party.

Mickey’s Toontown also opens about an hour after the rest of Disneyland Park opens for the day. If you happen to get there right as Mickey’s Toontown opens, you might be greeted by a few Disney characters as they usher you in to this area of the park. Once, my daughter got to walk hand-in-hand with Goofy as one of the first visitors into Mickey’s Toontown that day. It was so magical!

I hope this information is useful. Have a wonderful time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
