Hi Cheryl! Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
It is my understanding that the complete list of dining locations that will be participating in the 2020
Disney Dining Plan has not yet been finalized. Some locations are independently owned, and I suspect negotiations with those companies are still being worked out. Both
Rainforest Cafe and
T-REX are owned and operated by Landry's, Inc. Although the
list of participating dining locations is subject to change at any time, Rainforest Cafe and T-REX have been dining plan participants for the past several years. Of course, I cannot say for certain, but I would expect both of those dining locations to continue to participate in the Disney Dining Plan in 2020. In my experience, some locations are not officially listed as Disney Dining Plan participants for the following year until closer to the end of the current year.
On the right side of the web page for each dining location, just above the menu icon, you will see the words "Some Dining Plans Accepted". Clicking on this link will show the Dining Plan type and number of entitlements required. You'll notice some dining locations, for example
The Crystal Palace, are currently showing information for both 2019 and 2020; others have not yet been updated for 2020.
Vacation packages and dining plan information and pricing for 2020 were just released a few weeks ago; you will see more dining locations adding 2020 Disney Dining Plan information as we approach the end of 2019.
Cheryl, I hope I have been able to put your mind at ease in planning for your upcoming 2020 Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Please visit the Moms Panel again anytime with any additional questions you might have. We are always happy to help.
