Why does the 2016 Disney Deluxe Dining Plan not have appetizers included? The previous deluxe dining plans had appetizers and desserts included, along with the entrees. Thank you.

Hi, Joyce!  If you are familiar with the Disney Dining Plans, you know that the final contracts for a new year are never really set in stone until the beginning of the year, so we won't have specific details for 2016 until the new year arrives and the information is official.

Also, you'll know that the dining plans have seen various revisions through the years.  Revisions can be based on guest feedback, with cost in mind, or for numerous other considerations.  It may be that not including an appetizer would be in response to guests who think the deluxe dining plan provides too much food or that the cost is becoming prohibitive for many guests.

Again, official and final information is not yet available, but these types of changes are sometimes a good thing.  We shall see!
