Why is the datapad app only using the primary account and not using a separate profile for other players when they are selected for the party. This is concerning as we are looking at the Galactic Star Cruiser Experience

Good Passage, Joel! I received the transmission your droid sent us with your great question. Thankfully, Obi-Wan Kenobi isn't your only hope. I'm here to help!

It sounds like you're interested in using the Play Disney Parks app while you're visiting Walt Disney World Resort. This will allow you to engage with your surroundings in new and exciting ways, such as interacting with droids in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, answering Disney trivia, and collecting achievements as you complete challenges throughout the parks. The Play Disney Parks app also can be used as a communication device as you interact with characters and accept missions while on the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser

Joel, it sounds like you're wondering why you aren't able switch users or profiles in the Play Disney Parks app while using the same phone (also known as a "datapad" on the Halcyon starcruiser). To my knowledge, the best way to have several players use the Play Disney Parks app is to allow each person to have their own "datapad" that's synced up with their own app and profile. From what I understand, it isn't the most efficient to log out and back into different profiles while using the Play Disney Parks app. While you're in the parks, your best course of action would be to collaborate and play together using one profile, if you choose to use only one phone or device.

Since you're looking into booking an interstellar voyage on the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, I'd love to give you a little more insight! I was fortunate enough to cruise on the Halcyon starcruiser a few months ago and had the best, most memorable experience. You could call it out-of-this-world! We noticed that the full functionality of the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser experience through the Play Disney Parks app unlocked once we linked our reservation and were on board the Halcyon starcruiser. While my husband and I did use the Play Disney Parks app on each of our respective datapads, we saw many kids and family members on the Halcyon starcruiser who did not have their own phones. In this case, Passengers were given a loaner datapad to use by the Crew Members on the Halcyon starcruiser. This way, each Passenger could become the main character in their own Star Wars story, making choices and accepting challenges for themselves! Whether your crew follows the path of the Jedi, prefers to defend the dark side of the Force, or would like to diverge paths a bit (like my husband and I did), the future is yours for the taking. As you continue to Prepare for Launch for your Halcyon starcruiser experience, you can also reach out to a Galactic Starcruiser Specialist at (407) 939-1800 for any questions about your reservation!

I hope I was able to point you in the right direction today, Joel. Have a magical trip and may the Force be with you!

    Clear Skies!
